with his very best friend, 11 year old Max.
TALES Max may have been the reason, the expression, 'Man's Best Friend,' was invented, because he certainly is for Brook!
Max's beautiful brown eyes, and personality, light up Brook's life. Everyone would love a friend like Max; devoted, loving, faithful and a constant friendly companion.
From the photo, you may have already guessed Max's breed. He is a rare one-of-a-kind, California-collision, between two roving dogs, creating a unique-mystery-dog-breed. Max's under carriage stands a full five inches from the ground, and what he lacks in size, he makes up for in attributes; protector, guide, loving, patient, compassionate, etc. When Brook had a stroke, he and Max became 100% house bound. Prior to the arrival of Brook's new electric scooter, they had no other option, than sitting at home, for five years...watching TV, day after day. Now, with the benefit of their new wheels, they are both free to go outside, for their walks. Together with Brook's clever nephew, Duane, they designed and constructed a weather protection roof for the scooter.
This allows comfortable trips rain or shine!
Brook and Max, travel side by side, from 10-12 miles a day. Look for them, and wave 'Hello.' The walks are good for them both.
Brook gets to say 'Hello' to people, and Max gets to stare at cats!
TIPS
Max and Brook have the same diet, what one eats, the other shares.
Brook states, "I think this is one of the reasons my dog did not get the pet food poisoning earlier this year."
