What is in a name? Many mothers and fathers are in name only, and their children do not know them. And, some males and females, who are not biologically related to a child, are the ones who supplied the child with their love. What is in a name or DNA -- is not as important -- as what is in our hearts. Having lived in two foster homes, from the ages of 3-4, (Mum had TB and had to enter a hospital) the foster parents opened my young eyes to the fact that love and caring can come from many people. Always be open to receive love. Currently, my 83 1/2 year old mother would like to feel better, kindly send her your prayers. I am going to help care for her for a time, so your newsletters may have a delay. As of now, I do not have a lap top to work on or answer emails while in Canada. For your pleasure, I am creating a few newsletters that will send themselves during my extended absence. With each heart that opens, in this manner, it allows the Light in them to see the Divinity all around them, and in other people. And once this is done, then your world peace is possible; for one cannot hate or war against others that are also a spark of Divinity. For there is but one Father in Heaven, one God, one Spirit, all carrying many names, but all indeed the same energy. As each country has a different name for "Mother" and "Father" why would you expect them all to have the same name for their Divine One? It is nothing but arrogance to assume your name of God/Spirit is the "correct" name. Yes, it is correct for you, but not for the rest of the world whose beliefs of the energy of God is understood greater under a different name. How do you feel a "one name" of God could have spread from continent to continent 2000 years ago, and further back, into the wilds of Brazil, to the frigid dwellers of Antarctica, the sands of Egypt, the plains of America, the Isle of Britain? These people knew of the Divine Force. They honored it in their lives. Do you think for one second that God cares what you call It/Her/Him? No! That is a personal choice for communicating in your heart. God/Spirit/"All That Is" cares what is in your heart, sees what your inner intent is, and this is your true link to all that is Divine. A deaf and mute person who never hears, or says the name of God, but walks with Love, unconditional Love, in their heart is a more Spiritual person than one who says the name of "their God" one thousand times a day. For one lives their belief from their heart, and walks Divine footsteps, the other lives in the self, and is of their head. God's/Spirit's energy is like a river and is meant to flow, to touch others, in a gentle way. Think on these thoughts and simplify your thoughts. Amen." To help our families in the current economy, here are some helpful tips from newsletter reader, Phil in Ohio. ME ^I^ - HOT TIPS - Ceiling Fans - 3 C's COUNTER-CLOCKWISE COOLER - Use your ceiling fans year-round to generate air movement and change their direction in summer (toggle switch pulls down.) - In the hot weather, ceiling fan spinning counter-clockwise: Makes a room cooler by blowing the air downward. When the fan is spinning in a counter-clockwise direction you can feel a cool breeze coming down and around the room. - Winter ... Ceiling Fan Spinning Clockwise: Makes a room warmer by creating subtle updraft which pushes the warm air near the ceiling down along the walls and into the room. When the fan in spinning in a clockwise direction you should not feel as much of a breeze. - Duct leakage accounts for 25-30 percent of air conditioning costs and result in lost cooling capacity. Wrap separated duct joints and cover air leaks with heat-approved tape! (Strangely enough-- do not use "duct tape" which fails quickly. Making us wonder, why is it called "duct tape!") - Close blinds and draperies on southern and western exposures to prevent solar heat gain. - Set the thermostat up a degree or two when home, and more when you're away: Each degree you offset your thermostat reduces air conditioning expense by 3 - 4 percent. If you don't have one, consider adding a programmable thermostat, because it never forgets. - Replace or clean air conditioner filters monthly.
