A Snapshot of the Past
by Suzka, in Portland, Oregon
I live in Portland, Oregon and was recently speaking with my sister in Chicago.
I told her how a former classmate had posted photos online that were taken in one of those photo booths back in the 50's.
We reminisced as children how we loved going to the five and dime store and taking funny photos in the booths. What a treat!
Our conversations evolved into me sharing about our father, who has passed over. He has shown up in several of my dreams lately. However, the other night, in the dream, he said, "I won't be able to come down here and visit you for a while. They said I was spending too much down here and I need to stay in Heaven. I don't know when I'll be back, but I will!"
My sister responded, "Dad never visits me in my dreams, but mom does. She doesn't talk and seems sad." I told her mom visited in my dream this week, and for the first time she was smiling and talking!
She lamented, "It's strange that I never dream about Dad." I comforted her, "Maybe one day you will."
Hours later the phone rings, and it is my sister calling again.
She said, "You will NOT believe this! I just went into the kitchen for a glass of water. And, when I returned to the bedroom there was a little piece of folded paper on the floor.
I opened it up and was shocked! It was a photo of DAD that looked like it was taken in a photo booth! I have never seen this photo and have no idea how it got there. Except, maybe Dad is letting me know that he is thinking of me, and he put it there when I left the room."
Goose bumps raised all over my body listening to her story. Ironically, the photo my sister found on the floor was from a photo booth of our Dad!
We don't ever recall him having photos taken at one of those. It was as though our father was telling us he was listening to our conversation and wanted to show us that he was not only with us, but understood everything we were saying. This confirmed what I had just told her, "He can't come to visit right now, but he is thinking of her."
My sister took the little photo and placed it next to the one she has of our mother, right next to her bed.
Now she will sleep well knowing mom and dad are close by.
I hope our visit from the other side makes people happy, more aware of their surroundings, and to watch for signs in their lives. Angels are ALWAYS with us.

Dearest Readers,
First, kindly hold Myster E., my Silver Persian cat, in your prayers. He would like to feel better, and has been struggling the past week."
Secondly, the last newsletter "Angels Do Teeth?" brought in more email responses than any other newsletter in the last five years!
Possibly, because we all have teeth! The responses are interesting, so here are a few for your to enjoy, in the vein that we can all learn from each other.
Remember, I am a house wife, if you have any dental concerns consult your dentist and use your instinct.
Angelic Blessings,

I am also doing the hydrogen peroxide for my receding gums!
I knew about it many years ago for bleeding gums. Thanks for this newsletter!
Sherri in Connecticut
What a great tip! My son
just had a tooth pulled because of an extreme abscess and has had
pyorrhea and looks like it's coming back.
I forwarded the newsletter onto him, and will 'encourage' him to follow the tips,
as he's had so much teeth trouble. I would love it if it would help enough
to stop the deterioration of the few he has left. Thanks again for
a lovely newsletter - I always enjoy them.

I used peroxide in the same manner - works like a charm!
Modern doctors don't fall back on old fashioned tooth sense.
There's no money in it.

Thanks for your timely news letter. I was at the dentist and my gums measured 3, 4 and 5's. She said I may have to have the scraping if they didn't improve. I will start this remedy right away.
Elaine in Washington State
I have gum problems as well! I had treatment where they injected antibiotics into my gum line at base of teeth. It is worth a try of this formula of one cap of hydrogen peroxide and three parts water.

We grew up using hydrogen peroxide for any mouth problem and sore throats. It is my grandparents and parents remedy, and it works every time. Most of the old-fashioned methods are the best.
I have a book called "Home Remedies" that our family often refers to.!
Susan in Portland, Oregon
I loved your story about your gums and teeth, thank you for sharing.
I have been using Neem for about 6 or 7 years every day and my dentist always comments that I have no plaque build up and asks what I use.
Tracey, from Vancouver, BC Canada
What a timely newsletter! I have the same problem--my dentist has been after me for a years to see a periodontist, especially since my last visit to him two weeks ago. I have been "stressing" over the $200.00 FIRST VISIT fee!
I also have always taken care of my teeth and was wondering how the gum disease came about.
I will try the H2O2 gargle and meditation to see what my angels and guides come up with.

Today I went for my 6 month cleaning - and they want me to come back to do a "deep" cleaning -- it's my gums!
I showed the newsletter info to the dental assistant - and they brought out their own. I'd rather try your tip.
Betty in Seattle, Washington
Thank you so much for this last newsletter, I was excited about your healing, using peroxide.
I have periodontal disease, and am in the dentist chair four times per year for deeper cleaning, and every 3-4 years for a more thorough scraping.
After reading this gift of an article, I am committed to begin immediately.
I am working with the diluted formula of peroxide, sea salt rinse, neem toothpaste and have made my own neem mouthwash with neem, clove and peppermint essential oils. The cost factor has me experimenting with what I have on my own shelves. Staying with a twice daily regiment, and am so grateful to have this focus. It feels right.
Thank you again for your loving connections with us,

This is just the information I needed to hear!
I had an emergency trip to the Dentist six months ago, and am three months into my four month cleaning schedule, when six bottom front teeth suddenly started hurting and wiggling.
My gums have receded enormously in a very short time. I also brush, floss AND do the gums with a tooth pick the way the dental hygienist had nagged me into doing.
So you can imagine how unnerving it was to receive the news that I was going to need "transplants" to replace those teeth.
Because it was too expensive, the dentist decided to do a "stint" procedure instead.
He heated up some bad, I mean toxic level of bad, smelling yucky plastic sort of stuff, put it into an applicator and proceeded to put a thick layer of the stuff across the back of the loose teeth ... gluing them together.
He then worked this stuff into the spaces between the teeth and up to the top of them. It felt really terrible having this stuff taking up the space where my tongue had rested behind the teeth, and it seemed I was allergic to it as well, as it made the taste buds on my tongue swell up and be extremely sore to boot.
Plaque forms readily on the plastic ridge and interferes even more with my tongue. It feels like the shape of my jaw, on the bottom of my mouth, now has bony growths protruding into the space where my tongue needs to be in.
But the gums seem to still be receding more ... no one gave me any numbers, but there is lots of space between the gums and the enamel covered part of my teeth.
Thank you so much for your information.
Paula
When I was a dental technician, I noticed that people who exclusively used teeth whitening tooth paste experienced more gum receding. It does not happen to everyone, but it happened enough that I noticed it.
Trish in Oregon
I read a teeth "folk remedy" awhile ago, but in January I was having a lot of pain from a capped wisdom tooth, and a fair amount of gum bleeding.
I had an upcoming dental appointment, and considered asking the dentist to pull the tooth, but I decided to try this method first.
For three weeks, when I got up in the morning, I took about a tablespoon of sunflower oil into my mouth and swished it around, sucking and pulling it between my teeth, as described in the article.
Since I usually get on the computer in the morning to check my e-mail etc., the 15-20 minutes it takes goes by quickly, as I am doing other things.
Then, I spit out the oil (into the toilet), which has become thin and foamy because it has mixed with saliva, rinse with warm water and thoroughly brush my teeth. That is it!
My dentist visit, three weeks later, my tooth pain was 90-95% gone, my gums had stopped bleeding, and both the hygienist and my dentist were amazed at how healthy my gums were.
They double checked my records, which confirmed that for a couple of years my gums were receding and bleeding, and they had noted the problems.
My dentist was so impressed that he asked me to forward information about this technique. It is Ayervedic medicine, which is the traditional medicine of India.
I continue to do this most mornings, it is so refreshing.
Thank you for all that you do for so many, and for spreading the natural health wisdom that has been lost to us
