My three years old son called her Mimi.

The night after, Mom's death, as we were leaving a relatives house, he looked up at the night sky and said, "Have a good night Mimi!" and then he started to laugh.

I had not yet discussed her death with him, and he had not seen her for several months.

I truly believe that she came to him that night.

It is now two months since her death, and multiple times I have heard him talking to her.

He often points up and says, "Mimi is in the light."

This gives me an overwhelming sense of peace, and I only hope that someday when he is older he will remember these experiences and we can talk about them.

While I was gone, my children had a week long visit with my sister.

After the children left, my sister emailed me and asked if my 6 year old son, Erik, had ever mentioned "seeing" anything before!

I asked what did she mean?

My sister said that while she and Erik were playing, he looked behind her and told her not to worry because her Angel was with her!

I arrived home in December, and as Erik and I sat on the couch I asked him what he had seen.

Erik said, "I see lots of Angels."

I asked him to explain further and he said that there are two at Grandma's; a boy for Grandma and a girl for Aunt Pam.

He described one Angel as shiny with long blond hair and wearing a white dress.

Eric said he saw two Angels at my Aunt and Uncle's house, and one in our old house and one here in our new home.

He shared that at first he was afraid, then he realized that it was the same "boy" from our old house.

Knowing my family was taken care of by Angels, while I was gone, gave me great peace

(Mom had just had cancer surgery the year before.)

Eric is not afraid of the Angels and says they are with us all the time.

I asked him to let me know when he sees them again!

I wish I could be so lucky to have his gift!!!

How wonderful I thought, and then I saw 11:11!

My mother and father-in-law's wedding anniversary is today.

It is like they are letting me in on their celebration in Heaven!

I recently moved into a new apartment, and the first night in my new home, as I got ready to go to bed... I plugged in the digital clock.

The battery had kept time while unplugged, and when I plugged it in, it read 11:11.

I smiled, but didn't think it was that late!

So, I glanced at my watch and saw it was only 10:45!

That is a pretty good sign that this is the move for me!

I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and over the Christmas period I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime – a brand new, exciting job...living and working in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

I was up for the adventure, even though the Middle East is known as one of the world's terror hot spots.

The day I arrived, I went straight into panic mode, fearing I had made the biggest mistake of my life.

I was homesick and unhappy.

I stayed with a work colleague for the first few days and then moved into a very basic apartment.

I know all these things were meant to be, because before I had left the familiarity of my home, I'd asked my Angels to watch over me and to make their presence felt at the times they thought I needed their affirmation the most.

So, when I set foot into my new home and saw a tiny little Angel sticker above my front door, I nearly cried with joy.

And it didn't stop there – there was an Angel fridge magnet, Angel- shaped ice trays in the freezer and someone who lived there before me wrote ‘I believe in Angels' in permanent marker on the mirror, so I get to see it every morning!

This adjustment period is difficult to endure, but getting a new perspective on the world is probably exactly what I need right now.

I know my little Arabian Angels are with me and it's the biggest comfort I will ever know.
